Gardening culture in Kuwait is rising, especially after the full lockdown due to COVID-19. The full lockdown had its toll on people’s mental health by elevating stress and anxiety levels. That’s where gardening mindless task helped in controlling those issues, whether gardening at a farm, a home garden, or a simple roof top garden; all is helpful.
One sign that gardening culture rose after the lockdown was the number of customers at the local nurseries from June to August of 2020. Keep in mind that gardening season in Kuwait is roughly between September and May when the weather is bearable for plants to grow, while June to August is considered an off season as the soaring desert heat would burn most plants.
